Why It’s Better to Have Less Stuff

Why It's Better to Have Less Stuff

People sometimes look at me strangely and bombard me with questions when I say that I don’t want or need any new things other than the ones I have now. They ask, why am I waiting for the current ones to finish? Why don’t I want to have the latest iPhone or MacBook or any other cool thing? Why am I constantly rather trying to get rid of what I have in order to have less stuff?

What kind of freak is this? Why do I give away, sell or recycle these things?

So why should you want less stuff?

  • Less is better. Less is more.
  • Less means you spend less. Then you need less storage space. You also need a smaller house.
  • Less means less to worry about. You are looking for less. Don’t be held back by clutter.
  • Less means you can travel lighter and faster.
  • You are freer.
  • You can focus on more important and better things.
  • You spend less time doing things and more time doing things.
  • Less is more sustainable and beautiful!
